| Hi Melanie,
I bought your product while you were here in Calgary for the Masters.
I had to write to tell you that this product is fantastic! Right
now the bugs are terrible...driving the horses crazy. I covered one
side of my horse with your product, the other with a leading insect repellent.
Today I checked and the side with that leading insect repellent is covered
in bug bites, sweat marks, bug eggs and lumps where he was bitten...the
Fiske side, nothing. Also as an added bonus, my horse hates that
leading insect repellent's smell (chemicals), I have a difficult time wiping
his face around his eyes and in his nostrils...your product he doesn't
complain about at all. I will definitely be buying it again and again.
Love it.
--Calgary horse owner, Thanks, Janet Cameron
"The horse flies here are terrible in the summer, and particularly
pester my mares despite daily applications of spray and our best efforts,
making their chests one big bumpy, itch, flaky, hairless mass of bug bites
and small wounds. As I was using your wonderful Fiske's product on hooves,
bare patches and small wounds, I painted the bug bites on the mares' chests,
around their ears and under their jaws with Fiske's. What a transformation.
They seemed to fell relief immediately after I applied the product. The
itching, flakiness and discomfort were gone immediately and the flies have
stopped biting in those areas, allowing the hair to re-grow. My mares are
so much more comfortable too. What a wonderful product! Is there any end
to what it can do for horses, hounds and humans? I won't be without it."

I suffered with cracked and bleeding hands for many years. I used
Fiske's Skin & Wound Salve on the affected areas for about a week,
and not only did my hands heal up completely, but I haven't had the problem
since and that was over a year ago. As for use on my horses, I use it exclusively
on all injuries. It not only aids in the healing process, but I find it
eliminated the formation of proud flesh and scar tissue. I am completely
sold on all Fiske's products.

Dear Melanie,
I had been frustrated with my filly Sadie's side. She had a large
rash (about the size of a dinner plate) for months. We couldn't figure
out if she had rubbed against a patch of poison ivy or some other irritant.
After one application of your new Fiske's Skin & Wound Salve, I soon
noticed the rash and accompaning tiny bumps were disappearing. My husband
Sterling and I have been using Fiske's Hoof & Hide Balm for many years
and like it very much. Now we find the salve to be excellent for skin irritants.
Many Thanks, Colette Gates, New Ross, Nova Scotia.
| Hi Melanie, just a quick note to say how nice it was to meet
you in Truro at the Atlantic Horse Fair. I will NEVER be without
your product in my stable ever since I purchased a QH filly from Manitoba
that had a quarter crack in her front hoof. I applied Fiske Hoof
Balm starting in October and by Christmas the hoof had grown out and you
would never know there had been a crack ! I also use it on any scrapes,
cuts, warts and itchy spots. Kenda Grant. |

My name is Bruce Koch, this is the story of my experience with
Fiske's Hide and Hoof Balm. I had a tragic incident with my horses in early
July I was going down the highway at 110km/hr the gate hinge broke on my
trailer and my two horses fell out. One passed from the injuries and the
other was badly injured on the rear flank, 14" x 8" area as well as a severe
hemorrhage on the back end that required numerous stitches. The veterinarians
treated the horse and sent me home with medication and good luck. The hide
continued to dry up and fall off; I peeled down to fresh hide hoping the
healing process would start. The product I was using was working slow but
seemed to be drying up the area and it looked painful. Then Tracey suggested
I try Fiske's, her better half owns Eamor’s Saddlery and just started carrying
Fiske's and provided a sample bottle to see if this last ditch effort would
work. Well it worked extremely well I have gone through the sample bottle,
a 1 litre container and am now on the 2.5 litre pail. The area is now the
size of my fist and the hair is growing back. I figured that when he was
running out to the pasture bucking and kicking that he was ready to ride.
3 weeks ago I attended a branding, they were short ropers, I was hesitant
to use him, but roped the first calf and drug him to the pot with not even
a flinch from him when the rope touched his flank. I also used it on another
horse with a fungus patch on the neck and the patch is just about gone. |
|
So what do I think of Fiske's? It keeps things moist, it's easy to
apply and keeps the healing process working and improvement can be seen
on an ongoing basis. It saved my horse and that is all that matters. I
also use it myself, I suffer from dry cracked hands and this makes them
better.

| We're at the Winter Show Jumping Festival in West
Palm Beach, Florida and will be here until next spring, then we start to
work our way back towards home in Connecticut and then on to Canada.
Since finding your product for the first time when we were in
Halifax in the fall of 2006 for the Kubota Cup and then purchasing a large
amount while there again for the Kubota Cup this fall, I just want to tell
you that I love it! It's amazing! It's far better than any other product
that I have ever used! I don't ever want to use anything else but Fiske's.
Can I sell if for you in the States? |

| I use Fiske's Hoof Care Balm on my mare Sugar and
it seem to make her hooves grow plus they are a lot more easy to trim.
I also use it for myself on my hands as they get so dry at this
time of year ; My husband John is using it on a patch of dry itchy
skin he has on his leg; we're going to see how that works over time.
I even keep a bottle in my first aid kit for the minis!

"She had the will to live,
and sheep don't often fight to live."
I would like to extend a big "Thank Ewe" to Fiske's hoof and hide
balm. We have a pet yearling ewe seriously injured in a shearing accident
this summer.
(We have horses and three pet ewes as I am alergic to dogs!)
Our ewe "Baaewelah" was ripped open from the hock through the flank
with large wound and flesh laid bare.
Our vet was away so we treated her with a post surgery ointment
on the open wounds. That was covered with Fiske's.
Weeks followed with us applying Fiske's carefully all over
the limb and side, at least twice daily for the first two weeks. Fiskes
promoted healing and helped keep flies at bay. Antibiotics were used but
Fiskes was a major part of her care.
Baaewelah had lost considerable weigh and struggled to stand. The
injured hind leg was non weight bearing, and we had to aid and encourage
her to get to her feet several times a day. She literally needed steadied
to stop her rump from spinning around her front end when she stood up.
The vet checked the wound, muscle and tissue. He felt she was over the
worst. He indicated he had only ever seen one sheep injured that seriously
live, then added that sheep only lived for 3 days!
When our vet came out two weeks later he wanted to know what we
had used to treat her. He said not to change what we were doing and prescribed
another round of antibiotics.
"Baa" is now running and playing again. Her hide is slowing filling
back in.
Thank you Fiske's for being there in the tack room and Melanie
for being there on the phone to encourage us.

This stuff is great for scratches the best I have found yet

Ibn Ramada is a four year old Arabian stallion, and his coat was
extremely dusty – full of dandruff particles. Lots of brushing, and
adding flax and minerals and vitamins to his feed did not seem to change
his coat condition to any noticeable degree.
I had noticed the Fiske's product being advertised, and was curious
about it, so at the Canal, I picked up a container.
Initially, I put a triangle of Fiske's on Ibn's left front shoulder
to find out how his body would react to the mixture (May 28), on May 31
- I put Fiske's from the poll to his tail, on both sides of his body, and
on his left side, I worked the mixture into his coat with my fingers. I
noticed that Fiske's mixture spreads into the surrounding hair.
On June 5, I noted that there were big pieces of dandruff on his
coat on the right hand side, and the left hand side seemed to have very
little dandruff(even though initially both sides were virtually identical).
June 11, I coated Ibn once again - his left side seemed to be
virtually clear of dandruff, the right side had improved tremendously,
and some places seemed not to have any dandruff. While other places had
large pieces. I also parted his mane, and put Fiske's on the part.
June 13 On combing out Ibn's mane - there were huge pieces of
dandruff that had released from his skin in his mane - it appeared that
the dandruff had been like a solid covering - but now it was broken, flaking
away, and the skin underneath had a nice skin tone.
I would highly recommend Fiske's for a horse that has a dandruff
condition.
I look forward to using Fiske's in the future on horses that have
skin conditions.
Thanks so much Melanie for bringing your father's formula into
today's market, we need Fiske's for the special care of our horses.

Princess is doing very well with her training and we have successfully
been using your hoof balm on her with great results. She had damaged her
hoof in shipping and a big chunk broke off at the bottom and subsequently
a crack developed. The hoof is now growing out very quickly and the crack
has not developed any further. She doesn't mind Bob putting the balm on
her hoof, but did react to another product we used due, we think, to the
smell of the product. Whenever either horses nicks or scrapes themselves,
I apply the balm and in no time they heal. We are very happy with the produce
and, of course, have told lots of fellow horsemen!
We have had extremely high temperatures here on the Island for
the last couple of weeks and are hoping for a bit of a reprieve as we are
not used to the heat here. Hope your summer is going well and I'll keep
in touch. All for now.

I believe that if you keep life simple and uncomplicated nature
will be reasonable to you, but sometimes she throws you a curve ball.
My curve ball came this summer in the form of rain rot and mud
fever. What a mess! I looked for a product that could help both ailments
and tried Fiske's Hoof and Hide Balm. It was incredible!
Not only did it help heal the skin in a couple of days, but it
didn't hurt the horse when I applied it! Now I use it on any dry spot or
itchy tail.
And an added bonus. the flies hate it!!
My horses thank Fiske's and so do I. It's good to know of a natural
product that works and has many uses.

Hello,
I spoke to you at the Can Am this year about a horse with a deep
crack in the heel that would start to heal up then break open again. After
purchasing your product I encouraged the horses owner to use it, since
nothing else had worked. The farrier was out last week and the crack is
completely healed! I have also used it on a few "paddock wounds" and I
cant believe how quickly they not only heal, but the hair grows over.
What an excellent product!!
Thanks

By the way I sold a pot to a lady on Vancouver island 3 weeks
ago and met her again yesterday her horse had terrible sweat itch and I
ask her to try it, when I saw her yesterday she was absolutely amazed after
seven years of many creams and ointments she said that this actually works
for him. They has been over a 70% improvement in just 3 weeks How
Fantastic!!! I think this product will sell like hot cakes at the
mane event.

Hi Melanie:
I heard about Fiske's at The Mane Event horse expo in Chilliwack,
BC. I am located in Prince George, BC. A lady (who was selling
herbal remedies for horses) mentioned it to me when I asked if she had
anything for scratches (she didn't, so she recommended Fiskes). So
then the Greenhawk booth had some and we picked up three bottles of it.
I started using it tonight - the vet came up last week as my mare
was swollen in both legs, so the vet sedated her, got off the scabs and
gave me some steroid cream. The scabs haven't come back to date but
it is still "rough" where the mud scald is/was. So I started to use
Fiske's today and I will let you know how it works! On that note,
I spoke with a friend today, a gelding at her facility has mud scald and
she has been using Fiske's for the last couple weeks and she is very happy
as there is only 1 small scab left!!!!! This gelding had a terrible
time of it last year with mud scald.
He was on so many antibiotics etc...that he got sick from the
all the medicine! He was lame from the mud scald and had to have biopsies
done.
Nothing worked until the nice weather hit. Now this year
we have Fiske's and he's doing awesome!
Thanks again

I currently own a horse named Scout. Scout is a 7 year old Paint.
During the summer Scout got a deep cut about 7 1/2 inches long, on her
white patch on her side, possibly from a protruding nail. I enjoy doing
halter and showmanship and was very concerned. Upon going to the show on
July 29, the judge made a comment to me on how noticeable the wound was.
Then I herd of Fiskes. You apply Fiskes right to the cut everyday like
a paint brush and wait. Fiskes is a product to help reduce the appearance
of scars. That's exactly what it did. Actually, it not only reduced the
appearance of her scar, but healed it and made it totally disappear. By
our next show on September 9th, Scouts wound was totally gone. I received
comments on her scar and how it was not noticeable anymore and was asked
what I used. Now I am not afraid to be confident about my horse's appearance
in the show ring. Fiske's works miracles. I would strongly recommend this
product to anyone.
